Oh lawd

oh-lawd

Assignments come pouring in for the weekends and they’re here to stay as dates. Adding salt to my wounds, the guys over at Hertfordshire told us to do some sorta art journal which accounts for a sizable chunk of marks in our final assessment. It’s a semester length task.

One of the few things which I’ve managed to find joy, or at least contentment in are the second module of figure studies and also the computer application class. Unlike its name, the latter teaches us on computer graphic application, such as photoshop, illustrator, etc. Being self-taught in several cg applications and having some working experience in the designing field lets me breeze through this class with much ease. These applications, however requires constant tinkering about as I find myself picking up several new tricks from the lecturers themselves.

On a side note, I’m broke at the moment. This year’s cosplay project is probably my most expensive one yet, and to add up to that I bought 2 figurines in Japan partially on impulse (I did contemplate about it for several weeks though). Sigh, I think I won’t be picking up characters with complex costumes in the near future. Not until I have a steady income from my career. Same goes to my figurine collecting hobby.

Studying aborad doesn’t allow me much luxuries in life, but that’s only a menial price which I’ll have to pay for a better future.

3/4 to one year.

34-to-one-year

It’s been roughly 9 months since I set up vitaminvariant. I wonder if it’s plausible to keep this site up and running despite the lack up updates and contents. Therefore, to keep my overhead low during the course of my tertiary studies, I might move my blog once again, to a free Japanese webhost.  I am, however considering to keep my vitaminvariant.com domain so my readers won’t need to remember another new address again haha.

Downside is, customizability and freedom of scripting might be severely limited with the new webhost.
